And I'm not talking about downloading the demo and then finding a crack!! I work at a computer store that sells CDR's hand over fist, and would like to be able to direct my customers to free burning software. I've hunted for a few hours, but couldn't find anything but hints that there was such a thing. Anyone know where I could find it?

Only if they are running linux...

I haven't seen any free burning software for Windows. Usually if you buy a CD burner it comes with at least some software, and in many cases they come with Easy CD Creator, which is pretty good for most people.

I just dl'd it. Thanks a lot! Other people in the shop were even talking about pirating Nero or EZ CD Creator. I sure do appreciate your help!

I set it up at the shop on a new 16x10x40 Yamaha CDRW and an older Creative 8x4x24. It works great! It's not as easy to use as Nero or Adaptex (now Roxio) EZ CD Creator, but it's free!

Glad the software is working for you. Although the software is currently free, Sony could possibly remove the product at any time. Thus, I would suggest you keep a duplicate copy on your hard drive or ftp site just in case.
