is there a router out ther that is usb?? linksys has one that let you connect your pc's via usb but what if you have a usb cable modem?? is there a router out the with a usb WAN port

For the moment you are out of luck, current USB devices need a host (your PC) for power and drivers

Yeah, they do exist, (well... close anyway, it's DSL - they _might_ do others). This is probably tailored for the UK (BT-provided) DSL service, but try 'em - they may be able to advise on non-UK/cable usage, or even advise on other non-UK equivalents. Summary: USB/ethernet router for ADSL service... and I want one!

i was in Fry's and they had a Linksys router that had a usb connection to it. I don't know if you can connect modems to it, or just computers.
