Cheaper/easier to find a good replacement cable than an entire charger.
I disagree. I've had more issues with shoddy micro USB cables than I have had vehicle chargers, like the Motorola one I listed above. It's $4-5 shipped most places, provides a full 1A to juice all phones, and is plentiful. It's so cheap you can have a few on-hand.
In my experience, cheap micro USB cables are hit or miss. The connectors are loose, sometimes they fall right off, some don't provide full charge amperage, etc. You can buy a quality USB charging cable, but those are more expensive than this charger and the cable still isn't coiled.
Instead, this quality coiled-cable vehicle charger is cheap and plentiful.
