MWave is best. No one can touch thier MOBO/CPU combos and they have just about everything.

Monarch pissed me off twice is last month.

First time - I oredered a highend video card and packaging looked opened maybe a RMA?

Second - i ordered two Vcards for SLi and after a week I called to see what was going on since the order showed "in warehouse" for a week. After I called they told me the product is OOS. I cancelled and swore the place off after that since it was a christmas present for my son and time was very important..

Newegg? hav'nt used them in a year... overpriced and horrible RMA policies.

I have heard horror stories about newEgg and ZZF too so you cant go by just 'horror stories' because all vendors have that problem ocassionally. Mwave I'm not familiar with so I cant comment about it.

So-called "on time" shipping is always a hassle with online vendors. That doesn't mean they aren't reliable; you just have to pay extra to get it shipped by a particular date.

my last order with them i paid for 2 day fedex on a sunday nite. wednesday, the mobo was still sitting in the warehouse, "processed and ready to ship".

every other item from 4 different vendors )including buy.com, lol) was delivered by wednesday. not monarch. didn't even ship it.

I'd order from Monarch, only if they are cheaper. I got my Sound Card and CPU there. Saved me lots of $$$. I didn't ship fast like Newegg, but I really didn't need it till christmas and I ordered it in the beginning of dec.

I ordered from Monarch & call back for CS, they are really bad service over the phone or returning items.
BAD BAD BAD experiances..................................

I live in CA, so that means a possible hot deal gets killed by tax if I buy from newegg, mwave, and zzf. If monarch comes out cheaper then I go with them, or directron.

QFT

I live in Cali as well and I have bought about 70% of the rig in sig from monarch.

They are usually ~$10-20 more than Newegg, but no tax makes them cheaper almost all the time.

I've only had one prob with Monarch getting my stuff shipped out and MonarchJoe here on Anandtech got it sorted out for me and bumped me to NextDay Air for free

Point in Monarch's favor, they do participate here and will address concerns. Extra points - about 15 miles from my house. 😉
