Boo, don't knock Animal Crossing if you havn't tried it. I was skeptic about it at first, but it's a pretty nifty game.

Don't knock Nintendo, they made the videogames industry.
Hopefully Nintendo won't fail, they usually come up with some excelent games, such as Metroid Prime, Zelda, Mario, Goldeneye and Perfect Dark.
I mean, if I wasn't totally happy having a PC, I might consider a Gamecube, especially since most of the good PS2/XBox games come out on PC eventually.

I have to disagree, Atari made the video-game industry...

And broke it all in one go.
It was very hard for Nintendo to gain support from shops after the fall of Atari. The current industry is what Nintendo created, after the fall and collapse caused by the whole Atari thing.
There's a book called "Game Over" by David Sheff, it's about the rise of Nintendo, from its beginnings in 1889, to 1993 (when the book was written). It tells of what happened with the industry in the 80's when Atari flooded the market, and sales dropped through the floor, and how it wasn't until Nintendo that anyone had faith Video games were still viable as products in the shops. Even then Nintendo had to work very hard to get stores to stock NES', even though they turned out to be a big hit.

I can agree with that. I believe it would be more of a Remade the video-game industry though, really not trying to dance with words, what you speak of is true, I haven't read the book, but I can believe it..

Yeah, I agree with that. My roommate switched from a black one to a platinum one and both have their own appeal. However, when I got my platinum one, I noticed that it stands out against my xbox and ps2, especially when stacked next to each other.
