Is there no android widget that will turn the phone off?

I've got an htc incredible. The stand by/on and off button on top really sucks. I'm not sure if it's just my phone, but regardless, it's a pain in the ass to hold it down to bring up the menu that lets me turn off the phone. There are factory default widgets for all the other options on this screen, but I can't find any widgets anywhere that power off. Does anyone know of any, or why they dont exist?

I don't know of any widgets, but you can get Quick Boot and put a shortcut to it on one of your home screens. It loads quick (quicker than the button menu in Sense, anyway) and works well. Have to have root, though.

+1 for quickboot. Let's you boot direct to recovery as well which makes backups more convenient.

I use QuickBoot also. It requires root, but I love having an icon on my screen for a single-click reboot! :)

Tasker lets you make any widget (including this one) without root.
