Is there anyway to trace a cell phone nr from where its originated?

Yes, you prolly guessed it. I think i have a cheating wife on my hands. In my cellphone billing, i have found one peticular number thats being dialed ona daily basis and I am rather suspicious about it. I'm not quite ready to confront her about it and would rather do some research before I drop the bomb.

Obviously I dont want to call the number in question, what with caller ID being the norm. Is there a way to trace at least the billing name of a cell phone number?

If your wife/gf, husband/bf was suspected of cheating, what would you do to figure out where a suspicious number originated from?

Block your caller id and call the number. Use some social engineering to get their location.

i think they are sort of illegal, but for $40 or $50 you can get all of their info or call records or something

congress passed laws banning pretexting. it is now officially illegal

go to another phone (like a friends work) and call and leave a message saying you found a credit card of theirs, and this was the number the CC company gave you to contact them. Should get some info that way 😀

Try a reverse phone directory first. If it's a listed landline you should get a name/address.
