Is There Anyway To Fix My Phone Caller ID Display?!

I have a Casio TI-345 and recently the Caller ID display, we can't see a thing.
We like this phone and we tried purchasing a Panasonic 2.4ghz /w the same features, but we're having problems (the other end can't really hear us well, even on the corded phone).

Is there a way to make that LCD visible again? it's slowly fading away.

It's like the calculator display. Letters/numbers made from huge black dots (don't know what it's called), but is there a way to fix this? I tried adjusting, but there is no option. Plugged into the wall and still barely see the letters.

go to walmart buy a new phone with a caller id in it for about $15.

slowly fading away? sorry to say the obvious but is there a battery?

i had a phone with a built in caller id but it required a battery or the whole thing is screwy

no battery. I just plug it in with an AC adapter. I just opened the whole phone open.. found no battery.
