Is there anyway to effectively filter Yahoo email? I need to set up a filtering list for younger users.

I realize there is some age limit for Yahoo email users (I don't recall it right off the top of my head) but I would like to be able to filter incoming message "SUBJECTS" and text, if possible, with some keyword restrictions.

Is that possible?

First of all, you using OE or a mail client? Cuz Obviously you can do that. (If you don't want to pay for Yahoo! Pop Service, download Yahooo!Pops, a free/open proggie that lets you check it for free.

And second of all...I dunno, that's all I got :p

When you set up a new email account with Yahoo you have to state your age (birthdate). I can't remember how things go after this but I think they filter content for those under a certain age.

so just change your birthdate to something under the age of 18, but older than their minimum age requirement (if any).

if it is for younger users, I would also set up a name that cannot be computer generated. i.e. not something like dsmith@yahoo.com. make up something with random numbers and letters. my mom used to get tons of junk mail. i would read the header, and see that the email was also sent to names very similar to my moms, like one character off.
