Is there anyway to back up my games?

Does anyone here know how to back up discs legally? My Starcraft+Broodwar, Age of Empires I and Rise of Rome and Age of Empires II and conqerors and my Fighter's Anthology and a few of my games from pre-1999 are getting pretty scratched up, and I want a backup that can play online (as in, legally).
Does anyone know how to do it? If i mail Blizzard my copy of starcraft, will they send me another?
It should be legal for me to do it myself, right?

As long as you have a valid CD key, most titles should let you play online. You may have to install a no CD crack for some games though.

I know my SC/Brood War CDs are getting a little scratched up now too. I wonder how much the SC Battle Chest costs these days.

20 bucks at Amazon, but it could probably be had for cheaper

I have not had such troubles (all legal / valid license keys). If you are having problems with a particular game (make sure you are using the latest Alcohol) and check the Alcohol forums (great info source) for info on how to get it to work. Note: as stated above, you have to use a valid cd key.

The problem isnt playing online, its using the mounted CD to actually start the game. Keep getting a "NO CD" error.
cracked exes dont work for online anyway. Plus, they are illegal. Was thinking, is there an option to mail blizzard or MS my copy of SC/AOE for a new copy?

i had an original StarCraft CD and have an origianl key. the original CD got scratched but i made a back up with nero. recently, (as in yesterday actaully, i wanted to play it) and i put in the CD, used ISORecorder to make an image, and used DAEMON Tools 4.09 to mount it. works perfectly.
