ok all, i've decided to go ahead and build this computer. Is there anything wrong, or do you have any criticism towards the components? i'm open to any suggestions. thanks

Case: Inwin S500 Mid Tower ATX 300W
CDROM: Acer 50X CD-ROM OEM
CDRW: Ricoh 12x10x32 CD-RW IDE OEM
CPU: AMD Athlon (T-Bird) 1.0 Ghz OEM
COOLING: Alpha PAL6035 v.2.0, Arctic Silver II
HARD DRIVE: DiamondMax Plus - 7,200 rpm UltraATA/100 30 GB
FLOPPY DRIVE: Panasonic Floppy
MEMORY: 256mb PC-133 CAS2 SDRAM Crucial
MOTHERBOARD: Asus A7V133 KT133A (can't get iwill)
SOUND: Sound Blaster Live! Value
VIDEO: ATI Radeon LE 32mb DDR OEM

i have the speakers, monitor and keyboard/mouse already.

The IBM drives are faster than the Maxtor drives, but other than that it looks like a good system.

The IBM drives are a bit more expensive, but i think i'll be generally happy with the maxtor.

What about a DVD drive? More and more software is comming on DVD now.

Go with the IBM HDD if you can afford it.

Everything else looks good. :)

I would prefer an ASUS CDROM over an ACER CDROM....

Which particular Ricoh CDRW are you getting? The MP7120A does not support JustLink, but the MP7125A does.
