Ever been to Scotland? I think they deep fry stuff just as much as Americans. Had a deep fried pizza and Mars bar while there.

The deep fried Mars bars are sooo good.

Pizza Hut is basically fried pizza so it's been here for a while. They use so much oil it might as well be deep fried.

I heard the big item at the North Carolina state fair last year was deep fried Snickers bars.

I'm from Raleigh, haven't lived there in nearly 8 years, and I remember that being the "big item" back in '95-96 or so. Some time when I was in High School, anyway.
