Is there any way to "trace" a screename on AIM?

Someone Instant Messaged me tonight saying all this stuff about how they were going to screw with my car tonight. Is there any way I can trace or find out who it is? Or...Anything?

your only hope is to establish a direct connection then use netstat to find their IP

yea. then tracert the IP, get a host listing and contact that ISP for the person.. highly unlikely they'll give it to you unless you have the authorities on your side.

do get a DC, try sending them a file ... eg a pic of you or some pr0n

I still stick with no, because no one is that stupid to D/C with you after they talk a bunch of rubbish to you. Not to mention if it's someone you know what is their ISP going to tell you? Nothing.
