No, I'm trying to telnet into the router itself, so I can make some admin changes. But it's not even responding to a telnet request...Does it check to make sure the request is coming from 192.168.x.x? :frown:
I have my RT314 setup so my LAN (two whole computers! Wow! ) is completely invisible to the outside world. You can't ping or telnet the router from outside the LAN. Security is best when it's complete. Or as complete as complete can be in this day and age of 5-year olds hacking the Pentagon and IBM.
