Is There Any Way To Repair Corrupt AVI Files?!?!

I was just going through some old files and found one avi file which starts with a picture of me and a friend in front of the camera. It's an AVI file, it's 40mb, but duration says 0:00. I have the latest codec and all that. So I'm guessing the file is corrupt.

Is there any software or a way to get this fixed?!

Thanks for any help!

You lie. You just spent the past hour and 20 minutes downloading pr0n on 56k modem, and now you're sad/mad that it's corrupt!

All that time wasted and you can't even f@p!

Try to open it with virtualdub to see what the problem is. It can fix some problems, but don't expect too much.

Divfix?

divxfix works wonders. allows you to view partially downloaded avi's. that's what your problem is i believe. when i use to download divx, this was the primary reason why movies would not work. you probably are missing a few kbytes.
