I have two paritions. C is for windows xp and i installed Vista on D which also houses my installers. i could back it up and format, but is there a way to get rid of vista without formatting the drive? will just deleting the folders and using the Repair console work? TIA.

I'm finding the folders to be utterly evil to get rid of. I installed it on my 160g data drive to check out rc1 and I am about to resort to offloading all of my data onto a pair of 80g externals and format it just to rid myself of them.

1. vistabootpro to remove the boot
2. gparted live or a Linux live cd to delete the Vista partition and then to resize the xp partition

Reminder: Backup your data before resizing your partition! :)
