I would like to know how much I have given, in total, to Social Security since I got my first job.

Can it be done ?

Yes. You get all your W-2's (the copy that you're supposed to keep for 5 years or so), and add up the field that says "Social security".

Other than that, I doubt it, you could TRY calling the IRS and asking...

Unless you're 45 or older now, you most likely will NEVER see a dime of that.
