I would like to know if there is some place to d/l the update files from Microsoft without having to go thru the windows update a dozen times after doing a clean install of 98se/me/win2k or xp?
Thanks
Thanks Nothinman. My goal was to burn the updates to a cd and save some time when building systems. I thought I would still have to reboot but at least I don' have to wait for the whole win-update deal each time.
For W2K or WXP your timesaving utility is Sysprep. If you're building systems and want to 'clone' hard drives, you NEED to learn about sysprep. There's lots of KB's and there's docs on the help files on the OS CD's.
