Is there any type of job you can get for only 2 weeks?

i just got temporarly cut off from getting paychecks for the next month and a half without knowing it...i feel like milton...

anyway...for a while i have to finish school, but then i will have 2 weeks between the end of school and before I move out of Los Angeles...anyone know how i can make some money to survive during that time?

Construction companies are almost always looking for grunts. Not bad $$ either. Just don't tell them your quitting after 2 weeks.

They're used to people quitting after a short time though because it is very labor intensive. I worked for one for 3 days before I quit.

However, I quit because I had been waiting on another job offer and couldn't wait any longer w/out some $$.

Drug dealer.

Sheesh, people. Two hours, ten posts, and no one's suggested this? 😛

Edit - Hmm. LA. Might be a bit of a saturated market, and mind you don't step on anyone's toes. 😉

Save the whales, et. al. groups are always looking for fresh meat to help advance their causes. Look in your local indepent newspaper or weekend journal. I don't have the company's name off had, but I'm sure you can find one of those group places. Pay is somewhere between $300 and $500 a week. Expect door-to-door kinda work.

also from one of our local ads (haven't called so don't know if it is really legit or a money scheme)-
