Is there any situation where calling a girl the "C" word would be acceptable?

i guess if shes being a "C---," then she deserves to be called a "C---"

/thread

Best friend on your wedding day would certainly qualify, but it's just a word. It's the emotion behind it that counts. I might call one of my best friends it jokingly if they steal the last biscuit or whatever but it won't mean the same as if some stupid girl cheats on my best friend. Depends on the situation.

Pro tip: Prefix it with the word "rancid" to make even your friends gasp in shock!

I always found it interesting that there is no equivalent word in the English lexicon that can generate a similar response from men as this does from women. I've never seen such intense hatred (like the fire of a thousand nuclear explosions) in a person's eyes like I have on the few occasions when I've witnessed it's use.

It really sends them off the deep end like no other.

Here's something interesting.. a few of my girl friends and I had a discussion about this word one time and I was blown away by two of their responses.. they claimed being called a bitch was worse than the C word in their eyes.. which to me is crazy.

no no no. no matter what... there is never an acceptable time.
the "b" word... ok sometimes. the "h" word... even that can be said but never the C word.

Suppose I'm laying there with multiple stab wounds, and she's standing over me laughing maniacally holding the bloody knife, and getting ready to douse me with gasoline... in your mind, would that justify it?
Sure, it's highly unlikely, but you never know.

Yeah, most of the girls I know seem to consider it the ultimate no-no word.

Wow, I sound so mature when I say that 😛

That would be ones personal opinion, but is there even a word for a woman to say to a man that would come close to the implications that word has to females?

i dont think i have ever used that word in my life time. so yeah, i guess its usage would be rather appalling.

Maybe not a single word, but a few strung together could probably be about the same. They might have to be tailored to the man, too.

Is this a US thing or something?

Doesn't seem to have that much stigma here. i mean its a bad word, but no worse than anything else.

Why does there have to be a single word? Like nakedfrog said, a string of words could be just as hurtful. For example, calling a father "an abusive, child beating and molesting prick" would have serious implications.

Do you really talk that way?

A word like "prick" could potentially be just as severe, but men don't really care enough to be angered/insulted by it.

In general, unless you are calling a guy "limp-dick" or "pencil-dick" I don't think he minds being referred to by his genitalia. 😛
