Less efficient bins that couldn't go as opterons SKUs.
By that account every AMD and Intel desktop CPU is trash silicon

Thank you.
I don't think the 8350 needs overclocking. My 8310 at 4.3ghz is a very fast chip. Some overclocking on the 8350 and the 270 are probly in order, though the 270 isn't a real winner of a GPU imo. If you go with an Intel setup you're going to be GPU limited I suspect anyway. Toss a cheap 280x or 290 in there, should be tons of used ones cheap soon with the new cards inbound.
this wouldn't surprise me if they lazily cranked up settings and didn't improve thread synchronization latency. Otherwise, it should run just as well as it does on the Xbox. Games that run well on Xbox have always run well on AMD.I can't wait to see GTA 5 CPU benchmarks when it's released. I'm betting the AMD CPU's get annihilated like they do in most games.
an 8350 would run at 8350 at well under 8350 voltages. For whatever it is worth, my FX runs at FX 8350 speeds at well under FX 8350 voltages.

did this help? can you tell us what changed? How much better is it? or was that sarcasm...
On a tugboat right now, will be home on wednesday March 25th.
After I get home I will try the games out and see if anything changed.
Well we all could be in some 3rd world country struggling to survive every day instead of here debating the merits of technology in the comfort of modern civilization.
That post is so full of crap.
Your comments amount to ford telling parts manufacturers they have to hold to a certain quality. Last time I bought brake pads for my wifes tahoe the pads were not certified by GM.
Maybe exxon should only sell gas that is certified by GM, ford, dodge, toyota?
If an exxon gas station sells gas that has water in it, that is not toyotas fault.
AMD is only responsible for the parts they manufacture.

I bet the non GM certified breaks did not carry a GM OEM approved label. I bet you didn't open them and then find out they only stop the car if it has older difficult to find tires on it. Again if AMD allows its logo to be on a box they should expect that the vendor making the part is allowing the customers to have a good experience. Honestly who uses a VGA monitor at this point? How much extra cost is it to have a dvi output on its video port? Does AMD give a crap about what experience people have or do they want to keep cost as low as possible?
How have the pooches been TH?
No responding to TH

Oohh me me me! I'm too cheap to buy a new monitor.

VGA4lyfe, all the cool kids are using VGA
I can't justify replacing my 2x 22" 1680x1050 monitors. I've had one since ~2007 and it looks like it's not going anywhere.
Reminds me of people who had those old 21" Princeton CRTs that weighed a metric ton each. It was hard to justify getting rid of those, too, for awhile. They were sweet monitors, for their time.
I'm using some old PoS Gateway that is an early LCD monitor (circa 2001?). There are plenty of justifications for me to replace it, but they all come with a pricetag attached to them.
I miss the hell out of my 21" Sun trinitron. Shame CRT had to go away so completely.
At the local goodwills they always have 20-24" 1600x900/1680x1050 monitors for $20 or less. Never 1080 monitors.
