Is there any reason to buy pen refills?

Am I missing something here? Is the only reason to buy pen refills "I need 2 instead of 12"? I was gonna try to be a little green but...

Refills = $3.29/2 or $1.64 each

Pen Cost = $15.99/12 or $1.33 each

Only, if ya guard your pen with your life maybe.

Most the ones I keep around get stolen or moved around in the shop too often, had to track down one of my special ones the other day 🙂

Are we talking about a metaphorical dick or a literal one? The literal one might be ok, depending, and you'd definitely be getting more sex than most of us here.

Finding a real nice comfortable pen can be worth it especially if they white decent unlike some that are horrible to use.

Then again you get some many if you try and rarely use them these days. 🙁

“Somewhere in the cosmos, he said, along with all the planets inhabited by humanoids, reptiloids, fishoids, walking treeoids and superintelligent shades of the color blue, there was also a planet entirely given over to ballpoint life forms. And it was to this planet that unattended ballpoints would make their way, slipping away quietly through wormholes in space to a world where they knew they could enjoy a uniquely ballpointoid lifestyle, responding to highly ballpoint-oriented stimuli, and generally leading the ballpoint equivalent of the good life."

Eventually your pens will all escape to the ballpoint home world, so buying refills for them is silly. And buying new ones is just as silly. When your pens jump the wire and head for the hills, just steal a pen from somebody else. They'll steal one to replace it and so on and so on and so on. Eventually some office manager will buy new pens with the company money and the worldwide pen supply will be continually replenished without the need for individuals to buy anything. So no, there is no reason to buy refills.

I find my pens on the ground. If I used pens a lot, I'd buy higher end pens, and get refills. Pertaining to the question... That's some retarded pricing, and the guy who initiated it should be kicked in the balls.

The pens in the OP are a personal favorite. Write like a dream, but have had a couple lemons that started to skip badly with plenty of ink left. Still worth it.

They're pretty good - I like them better than G2's.

Not sure if I like them better than zebra 301's tho, but hey work gives me 207's so I'm not arguing.

ink comes out immediately, unlike the white Staples brand pens 😡

I buy refills for pens that I made myself. I have some store bought pens too and I don't see the point of the refills when the full pen is cheaper..........
