Easier internet sharing is a good explanation... but I was wondering if there are other people thinking like me. See: I have only one computer and do not plan to build a home network to share internet connection, because I'll have an ADSL only for me (i believe most of you are in the same situation). So, it sounds good to me to have all stuff integrated into the case, making all in one box. I don't like the idea to have external equipments, with more cables crossing the back of my machine and space wasted onto my work area. An internal card makes the things "cleaner" and even easier to move. Isn't this way with our 56K modems? So, I believe that the same applies to the internal ADSL (and cable) modems. Why not?
My exact question is: Is there any technical problem with the internal ADSL modems, avoiding the manufacturers to produce them? Or is it only because the internet sharing? I am interested to buy one soon, but as I do not see anybody using it.... it makes me wonder: "- Is there something wrong that I don't know?"
