Is there any possible way to get Vista RDP server onto an XP box?

I have an XP box that won't be getting Vista anytime soon that I'd really like to be able to use ClearType over Remote Desktop for. However ClearType over Remote Desktop wasn't introduced until RDP server v6 that shipped with Vista and will ship with Server 2008. Is there any way to get this version of RDP server on an XP box, by copying a dll or service executable or something weird like that? Note I'm not talking about RDP client v6, I'm talking about RDP server v6, so that my XP box can transmit ClearType info over the protocol. I've tried UltraVNC which does support ClearType but I'm just not as satisfied with it as I am with RDP.

Thanks.

well, this is a hack involving overwriting XP's termserv.dll with one from the SP2 beta, but you might try doing the same thing with termserv.dll from Vista (if it even exists). I highly doubt it would work though, and will probably end in flaming death.

Ha, thanks guys, I figured this would be impossible (I considered trying to grab a Vista termserv.dll but I too assumed this would just break it), but I figured I'd ask. It's a work machine so I have no option of upgrading it to Vista anytime soon, so if I want ClearType I seem to be stuck with UltraVNC, which unfortunately sometimes seems slower than RDP, and also doesn't support the mouse back button, doesn't automatically send all keyboard shortcuts to the remote machine, and doesn't automatically scale the remote machine's resolution to match the local resolution like RDP does. Eh oh well. Maybe RealVNC or something else would be a good mix of the advantages of both?

realVNC has a lot fewer features than UltraVNC does. I like to use the "Auto scaling" option on the client to make it the window a better fit.
