Is there any other tablets worth considering

They all seem to be heavier than the Surface. Just wondering if tech support or performance would be even better with a different brand other than a Microsoft tablet ? I know there is only a 1 year warranty but I have a feeling Microsoft backs that up very well. I will have to do more research on it though to make sure.

For full-Windows tablets, the Surface 3 and Pro are the only ones worth considering, IMO.

you could always look at the baytrail/cherry trail tablets...

but yeah, the surface 3(since it's newer) is an improvement over the baytrail/cherry trail

You can look at the Asus T100 Chi. Similar weight/specs, has attachable keyboard. Think these two devices compete directly (same release cycle/...)
