like a small unit that I can just leave on and forget about it for a couple of weeks and come back and find that it found my pass word?
And it saves it's progress in case of a power outage or other disruption.

is there software that can do brute force attacks coupled with fragments of remembered pieces that can be set running on a PC and forgotten about for a few weeks and saves it's progress as it goes in case of disruptions or if I want to stop it and continue later where it left off?

generally, their might be some software, but definitely not any dedicated hardware that I have heard of.

Generally, once locked up, it is done so that it can not be read by others, that includes you if you forget the password.

depending on the software used, some can be setup to use a brute force attack using the processing power available from amazon;s virtual servers, but that will cost a bit of money if a long pass key.

though it all depends on what you are trying to do.

A Google search shows some ways to access the drive, but they make a few assumptions about the data.

What are you trying to do?

Not thst I sm sws4re of. If there were, it would be If there were, then Bitlocker would no longer be useful.
