Is there any good voice recognition software out there?

If so, what are you using? Would it be good for dictation a novel?

I got IBM Via VoiceSE with my soundcard and I can't get the thing to "train"...it keeps giving me some error message about being 'unable to open step 2'.

Dragon Naturally Speaking seems to be the most common one, and it works pretty good... A friend of mine use it all the time to write essays and papers while doing other stuff...

I use Dragon NaturallySpeaking 6. It's pretty good
