i was just listening to cnet radio and they were talking to a tax person from intuit .. basically the difference is user experience.. the web one you can do anywhere since it's online.. they did say the cdrom version had something to keep track of receipts thru out the year.
Ok, it seems a lot easier to just do them on the web. That's what I did last year, so I don't even have to retype all my info. I guess I was just wondering if there is a benefit to buying the CD instead of filing on the web.
I really don't know, but my understanding is the CD-ROM has more tax planning features. Also, is the web version integrated with Quicken the same way Turbotax is?
