on a 32mb ddr memory and a 64 mb sdr memory? other than the obvious ones...

thx, this is helping me on a new vid card decision

Generally better video cards use DDR ram. I would go for the 32 megs ddr since for most video cards memory bandwidth is more important than the amount.

In most cases 32MB DDR will be faster because memory bandwith is needed more than total RAM

If you are specifically comparing the 32 MB GF2 GTS and the 64MB MX400, I can say from experience, the GTS is FAR faster..

It's well worth whatever the extra cost is, the MX400 cards are not a particularly good value in comparison to a GTS card with DDR SDRAM.

an mx is $82 @ newegg while a gts-v is $65, but i'm aiming for a gf2 ti500 64mb ddr so i can oc to a gf2 ultra
