Is there any auto loan for college students who are unemployed currently?

like me, I want to buy a used car but I don't have the money for it, I would like to have an auto loan, so I went to 1800autoyes or something and they ask me for 6 references, what should I do? and is there any other way??

Exactly.

The only other alternative is to get a co-signer (parent, brother/sister, other relative, co-worker, friend) who has good credit and a low debt to income ratio.

Yep, they're called student loans.

Interest deferred, lower interest rates, and tax deductable to boot!

What's the ;) for? In 1994 I barely had any credit and desperately wanted this 486 with 14" monitor for $1,600, I have no idea why ... but a co-worker offered to help me out by co-signing for the Computer City financing program. I was thrilled and it helped me establish my credit.

Of course now that $1,600 machine is barely worth $60 including the ancient printer.
