Boogak has it right. University of Ten-thousand Asians has a lot. At least in the engineering college, all asians and indians. I live in duncanville too (but I'm not Asian) and have to drive 1/2 hour there everyday.

<< So to all Asian Guys, do you have trouble getting a white gal? Are they attracted to us? >>

On the flip side, are Asian women attracted to white guys often? There's a couple of honey's in my project group ;)

istallion ~ some yes, some no...

Speaking from experience, almost all of my boyfriends have been Caucasian (of the 2 that weren't, one was 1/2 Mexican and 1/2 white, and the other one was from Nigeria). This happened mostly by circumstance... I grew up in a predominantly white area (midwest), and didn't have the chance to really get to know any Asian guys until I went to college. Admittedly, it's generally a lot easier (more socially acceptable, maybe?) for an Asian girls to date a white guy than it is for an Asian guy to date a white girl.

I noticed quite a few "twinkie" responses. Yellow on the outside, white on the inside. Personally, I would never classify myself that way. I grew up in America and I love my country, but I also love my rich cultural heritage... my current boyfriend is teaching himself how to speak Cantonese, and I think it's wonderful both sides can be celebrated and appreciated. I think it's definitely possible to have a healthy balance of both, and I would never deny who I am by claiming otherwise.

Hey,

I'm white, so white I am practically transparent in the winter time, but I think I can help you with the asian-guy <-> white chick interrelations.

Generally speaking, asian guys have a hard time snagging a white woman, but it isn't about looks or general racism. It's about attitude. When you deal with *most* (not all) white chicks, they look for your attitude towards them. Hey, I know this for a fact. Try to be honest, relaxed, funny, and most of all respect what they think. Some of my indian co-workers (FBO) have a hard time at that. Others dont. I hate to say it but the society that has evolved here in the USA is more based on how you act than how you appear. And maybe that's a good thing (what's his ugly-face even married Julia Roberts!).

Just be cool, be funny, and be nice. If you see a girl (who is available!!!!) and she tickles your fancy, then don't rush it, don't force it. Be her friend first, and maybe lover second. The last thing you want to seem is pressing, or just pushy.

On a slightly *darker* side...

Racism in this country still exists. Some people will tell you it doesn't, but that is just not true. Don't let it get you down, since (being a minority) you will probably be the victim of it eventually, one way or another. There are just too many rednecks in this world. But the vast majority of us just want to kick back and kill a brew with ya'all. Don't judge us by our radical minority. The USA is the melting pot of the world. Welcome to the home-brew.

G'luck, and I wish you the best!

I can see it from far off. :)

I heard Hawaii is the best place to live if you're multi-cultured and loves to live peacefully with many other ethnic/culture/nationality people.

And the jap gals in Hawaii, whoooo i heard their way to hot for my eyes. ;)
