Is there any advantage to using Windows Server 2003 vs. Windows XP?

Windows XP does everything i need to, but i have a legit copy of Windows Server 2003 that i'm licensed to install if i want to. I don't host anything from my computer, but i've just started playing with PHP/MySQL and doing some light website development, so it'd be nice to test out the stuff locally before making it live online. I think i have a PHP/MySQL kit to install on my XP machine somewhere. Is there any reason for me to switch to win server 2k3?

Unless you need the server functions of 2003 then I see no reason to switch over to 03. I'd just install it on a seperate box if you have an extra one available.

It's faster once you turn off all the crap you don't need, from my experiences. However the difference in speed isn't really worth the hassle.
