Is there an MSCONFIG analogue for/in WinXP ???

On win98 there was a built-in little nice thing called msconfig. There one could change things in startup etc, etc.

I was wondering if there is something like this in WinXP ???

Thanks.

Yep, MS added msconfig back into the OS after its absence in 2k. Strange that it didn't show up there...

You can actually use the MSCONFIG for XP in 2k. It works like a charm. I downloaded it off the Net and unzipped it into my System32 dir.

Edit: Oh yeah! Same thing for TweakUI.

Nice! Thanks for the tip...I'll have to copy it over from my laptop 🙂
