Is there an MP4 player or do I have to convert them?

Yes..I'd love to research this...however; I was robbed on the 3rd and need to send video.

I have mp4 videos I need to send and view...I can view on my phone (my only digicam left since)..but not on my PC.

help.

mods please move if this should be under another forum...

Try VLC, and learn to post in something that at least resembles the right forum.

Yes, VLC can play them.

AVIDemux should also be able to convert them, should you need to do so.

What was the source of the mp4's? VLCPlayer should play them. If the mp4's were recorded on your phone, chances are the audio is in AMR(audio codec used on lots of phones for recording). VLCPlayer does not play AMR audio due to some licensing issue.

source is from a phone, it's my only digicam at the moment.

media player classic and a few others (I think I tried VLC at my office) will not play the mp4's...I need the proper codec it says, but doesn't take me to the right page to download.

If I can just convert them to something else that will work, but I tried a couple apps and those also did not work.
