There was a TeAm channel up to last year...but was shut down (AFAIK) because *punks* started hanging out there. The offered to do nasty things to my family and, at that point, I uninstalled MIRC as I was afraid my young daughters would find the channel and have somebody bother them. Would be nice to have another *clean* one though.

Yep, the channel is still up. Bit emptier nowadays though. Shame, had some interesting conversations on there usually not about DC projects 🙂

There is still such a channel. But it's been real quiet. I usualy hang out there, but spend my time chatting in other channels as well.

FYI, IMHO, I guess some people say that the IRC system is a little offencive. But I guess, it doesn't matter where you go on there. There is always someone that makes it a bad experiance. Ops try to do what they can, but they can't always ban people just because they said something that offended you. Otherwise, there wouldn't be anyone on IRC. And that goes for the good people too. 🙁

Very true Wolfie...but others have noted the bad people that hung out on our IRC. When someone offers to RAPE your 8 year old daughter....not matter if it's a joke or not....it's not funny. Not one bit!

I loved the times on IRC....many pepole...SAK....Wolfie.....mechBGon....ViRGE......many others. Maybe I'll pop back in and see if you've cleaned up your act! 😉

I don't ever remember that and as far as I am aware, I don't think it was brought to my attn. Stuff like that isn't excepted.

I remember you talking to me about that a "long time ago" for whatever reason (hope I wasn't being bad, but I can't remember) - there was a certain "noid" and some "lpc" that were causing no end of trouble; IIRC, the former cleaned up his act, and the latter ended up getting banned after insulting an OP.

Edit: You are the "Wolf4dk" OP that was in #teamanandtech, right? If not, then it must be some other person that I'm thinking of. 😱
