Is there an FPS game out there without cheaters?

Or, you're just really bad at the game.
Sorry, but 99% of the time people accuse others of cheating online, it's just because you're getting beaten. Punkbuster does a pretty good job of keeping cheaters in check, and while sure, there are some out there, most of the time it's just someone better than you.

so when a guy comes around a corner with his gun aimed directly at me as he turns the corner and starts shooting, he's better than me? or when a guy gets headshots on every kill, he's better than me? or when a guy can't be killed even when he is afk and you unload several clips into him and he doesn't die, he's better than me?
sorry, but 75% of the people who use that excuse are trying to cover their cheating tracks (i can pull percentages out of my ass too).

BF2 cheating isn't nearly as rampant as you make it out to be.
As for your run around the corner and shoot the crap of you thing. There's a thing called a UAV. It lets you know where the enemy is
It takes some time to get used to the battlefield damage method. You'll get better once you start to understand how the game is played

meh yesterday i saw a blatant speed hack on cs source. what i don't get is why that can't be stopped? whats the technical reason why the server can't detect movement that is competely out of the normal range? i saw this in original cs, now source on occasion. sure sometimes the admins ban the people, and votekick sometimes works, but its still freaking annoying. is it that the companies aren't trying or is it something very hard to deal with?
because the hacks trick the server by using lag. if you watch closely, you'll notice the speedhacker periodically stops as if he's lagging.
yes, i know that wasnt a very technical explaination, but thats the jist of it from what i understand.
Well, as is typical on the subject of cheating/hacking, this thread diverges into two groups with no middle ground. It starts off with the knee jerk response that it's his problem and that cheating isn't really the "big deal", thus making pointless an informed discussion on how pervasive a problem this remains.
The only way to play without cheating is to play offline. There are immature morons everywhere that find entertainment in playing a game without challenge, they survive by making others suffer. It's really disgusting, but inevitable.

guess what? there is no UAV in CoD2 or FEAR or CS.

too bad a strike won't do anything. its not like we pay to play online.
they already got our money. they could care less what happens after that.
why is PB like the only anti-cheat software out there? with cheating being such a rampant problem, yu'd think that anti-cheat software would be in demand and people would be making it to make money. or is that part of the problem? companies like Activision/Raven don't want to spend the money on the software?
the other thing is that PB doesn't catch 100% of the cheats or people always find ways around it or PB just can't keep up with the cheating loser bastards.

Counter-Strike has always been a haven for cheaters. I'm simply giving a possible rational reason for why he would suck as Battlefield
As for the others? I won't make any comment on those because I don't play them online

Try other games then that utilizes punkbuster, and servers that uses PUNKBUSTER. I play RTCW:ET. So I'm coo

The public hacks you find on the web are the ones most anti cheat tools catch. The hacks that someone writes and gives to other clan members or friends almost never get detected. Then there are the logging cheats, I love those, every time someone uses it, it reports to an irc channel with the date, server address, and players id. Thats what you call caught red handed.
Edit: Got off topic, the answer to the OP's question is; I don't think so. I've seen hackers in every game I've ever played.

pontifex I played CAL-P CS and I really can't pub without being called a cheater. I have played for 5 years and you learn so much about the game such as where typical camping spots are, where to look first when going into rooms and where to hold the crosshair to get a headshot on all kills (unless I spray I will usually always get a headshot when I kill someone). Also sound is a big play. I know where people are based on sound, whether it is where the sound came from or what type of sound it was (It CS a couple maps have sound triggers where if a person is in this certain area a sound is played). Unfortunatly there are many cheaters, but you really have to know the game well to be able to make a well backed accusation of cheating.
