Is there an eyefinity 6 68xx or 69xx card?

I'd prefer to get the 68xx or 69xx version for power reasons as performance isn't the deciding factor for this project. I'll need 6 (or more) minidisplay ports out. I won't want to daisychain or put in 2 cards.

Thanks

ALL of the 68xx cards support 6 monitors out of the box, but they need to be chained or use hubs, there are only 2 DP outputs, I believe. There aren't any special versions I know of. The AT 68xx review has a page dedicated to how they support multiple monitors and the various configs.

I assume this will be a key feature of the entire 6xxx series, but since no other 6xxx cards are released, that's only an assumption.

Thanks - I know they currently have 5870's with 6 minidisplay ports on the back in the eyefinity designation.

they support 5 out of the box afaik if they have the dual mini dp config, but you need another card for 6. i'd want a second card anyway if i were rendering that many pixels haha.

ed: i think most of the E6 cards also had 2GB frame buffers

I would expect a middle level card, might be 6700 with eyefinity and dual DVI + HDMI +DP.

6800 and 6900 are too much for people not gaming.
