Is there an endurance building excercise for shins?

I've tried to start jogging and my shins get exhausted very quickly and are sore the next day. Is there something I can do that will build endurance faster than brief jogs?

Keep jogging, and buy better shoes. See someone who actually knows something about the human foot and biomechanics, rather than just taking the advice of the guy selling you sh1t in Foot Locker/any other store.

Edit: As ornament said, a simple insole could fix the problem as well.

Not sure if your gym has one but mine has an exercise that uses the muscles surrounding the shin. Or you could put something with some weight on your foot and lift with your toes.

shins? There aren't any muscles on your shins, if your shins are hurting it's cause you're damaging the bone/stressing it etc..

I used to do cross country had suffered from absolutely horrible shin splints. A short rehab program of sorts and a new pair of shoes made all the difference. Just be sure to ice them immediately afterward, or use a brace (not sure if they have them for shins though..I had a trainer ice me up) when running.
