is there an easy way to find the threads you have posted in?

Kind of like how Tapatalk lists your "participated" but for the regular website?

I suck at searching and always end up not finding what I am looking for.

turn on auto subscribe, and then you can just click "user cp" up in the left which defaults to new subscribed threads. set your default thread subscription mode to "No email notification"

Easy!
Click on your profile (above your username), in the dropdown box, select "Find more posts by _______", Voila!

Or, you can use the Ultra Super Secret "Advanced Search.
From the Search tab, click on "Advanced Search" in the dropdown box. You will be redirected to the Advance Search page. Upper Right is "Search by Username", type in your username, & directly below that, You can choose which Forum to search (or select "Search All Open Forums").

PS, don't tell anyone else about the "Advanced Search" function, it seems to be a Super Secret to most around here!

i like the subscription method better as you can bookmark that page, but you can't bookmark search results.

that lists every single post. I was hoping for individual threads, no posts.

Using Advance Search, enter a Keyword in the upper left to narrow it down.

This would work too, as long as too much time has not elapsed. (my subscriptions do not seem to stay in the "Subscribed Threads" box for long)

Uhh, in the advanced search, change the drop-down menu from "Find Posts by User" to "Find Threads Started by User."
I mean, there's no way to do it. But, if you paypal me $20, I'll painstakingly compile a list of the last 500 threads started by you (unless there's less than 500.)

I know I have made more than 500 threads.

The only variable is how many of them got deleted....

Look for the little padlock symbol next to the thread title.
