Is there an autocorrect extension in FF or Chrome?

I alwats wished a browser had this feature. Im constantly typing:

i - not captialized
im - I'm
didnt - didn't

a bunch of others that i cant think of (can't!)

Is there an extension or something out that offers this?

i'm didnt cant i

Works for me. Cant is a word, and i is a little ambiguous. You have to turn on autocorrect in the browser, and supply it with a dictionary to use.

is there an autocorrect feature? I dont see anywhere where i can turn it on, or even edit the dictionary.

Click the checkbox that say "Check my spelling as I type", and the Aspell dictionary is a system dictionary that Firefox should use. If that doesn't work, you can use the this spellchecker...

You might have to disable compatibility checking to use it. You can do that in abouity:config, or use the addon compatibility reporter addon.

That's spell check though, not auto correct. I think he meant it automatically change the incorrect word to the correct one.

Oh, crap. Well, I don't know then. I'm not sure why anyone would want autocorrect. It'll likely screw up more things than it fixes, and won't be as obvious. You see it ll the time on forums; where the software inserted something stupid because it thought a mistake was made.

I would disagree, after using SwiftKey X on my phone for a while now I really miss its autocorrect and prediction when using a PC.
