Is there an article of an AMD vs Intel, both Overclocked systems?

I googled for something but couldnt find any recent benchmark, just oldies Athlon XP ones...

CU. Thanks to all of you.
Ohh, and Happy new year 🙂

The problem with doing overclocking articles is that to get statistically valid results, AT would have to OC 30+ otherwise identical CPUs. IIRC, there's some kind of database where people can enter in their OC results with different CPUs - this is probably a better way of seeing how well a CPU can OC.

And, in any event, there's no guarantee you'll get a good overclocker...

Just take a look at most of the lead articles at AT, Tech Reprt, XbitLabs, etc...they generally oc them modestly and run some test...

As mentioned above stress testing is limited so they may not be totally valid but it gives you ballpark....

Otherwise just read th ethreads here and they will give you an idea...

Check Anandtech's review of the FX-60 @2.9 VS a 955 XE@4.26 (just one example)
