That's what I was thinking when I read the plot...but wasn't "Brazil" also about limiting your emotions?? Its been awhile since I've seen "Brazil", but AFAIK that isn't a Woody Allen flick either...

When Sly gets frozen and wakes up some 50 odd years in the future, trys to bang Sandra Bullock, and gets denied because it's illegal.
