That's what I was thinking when I read the plot...but wasn't "Brazil" also about limiting your emotions?? Its been awhile since I've seen "Brazil", but AFAIK that isn't a Woody Allen flick either...

Nope...wasn't that Terry Gilliam's big project?

I think its Sleepers where he woke up 100 years in the future.

i don't recall that gratification was illegal tho... didn't they all have little sex machines?

From IMDB,

'A clarinet player who also runs a health food store is frozen and brought back in the future by anti-government radicals in order to assist them in their attempts to overthrow an oppressive government. When he goes off on his own, he begins to explore this brave new world that has Orgasmatron booths to replace sex and confessional robots.'

Sounds about as close as you can get, but I haven't seen the movie....

its actually
"sexual relations between human beings is forbidden by law"

That's not quite right...In "Sleeper" the Orgasmatron is a device made for two. The joke scene is when he is trying to hide from the authorities and enters it alone; comedy ensues.

🙂

How about.. Demolition Man.

When Sly gets frozen and wakes up some 50 odd years in the future, trys to bang Sandra Bullock, and gets denied because it's illegal.

No, because it wasn't really hilarious, just kind of funny.
