Is there a way to play BF2 online without the CD?

Yea, alcohol 120%, rip your games as images and emulate them in your drive. It works flawlessly for me.

Hello? Ever heard of World of Warcraft? It's made by Blizzard and it doesn't require a disc to play.

How do I make this mini-image you speak of? I also own BF2 and want to make an image.

I use a single mini-image mounted for BF2 and the xpac. Not sure how they are made though.

I gaurantee that if you took the sum of the nerdiness of all BF2 players and put it next to the nerdiness of all WoW players, it would positively dwarfed.

Hmm...when I used the BF2 mini image and Daemon Tools it worked flawlessly for a few days then the friggin' bastards at Punkbuster banned me from any servers that featured Punkbuster. It was a totally legitimate CD key. I cannot recall the exact message but this was only about a month or so ago.

Incidentally, I do not cheat and the message I researched was related to the no CD method I was using.

Hehe. I dont know really. As you can see, I'm no stat padder and certainly am no claner. I guess just to poke fun at those idiots doing that crap. I created a 2nd account so that one account could have some unlocks and another could have another set of unlocks (say assault and SF for one, sniper and AT on the other) since I suck and it takes me forever to rank up (I dont really care about my rank, I just want some good weapons). But now I only play the first account since I dont have much time. And with SF you get 2 unlocks so really I only need about 2 more rank-ups on my 1st account to get the majority of the unlocks I want.


I created the 2nd one when I got SF. I bought SF pretty much cause I kept getting owned by the F2000. So I created it to get the F2000 and use it cheaply like all the clanners but by that time they nerfed it a bit with a patch, though I really like that weapon still even tho a lot others stopped using it.
