Is there a way to permanently set file listing to "DETAILS?"

You know how when you're browsing your HD in Windows Explorer you have those four options "details" "thumbnails" "list" "etc". Is there a way to set it so it ALWAYS shows "DETAILS" view? Thanks.

Hmmm...tools => Folder options => Apply to all folders will set them all one way. Not positive if they will stay that way though

Just open a folder window, set it to details view, and then go into Tools --> Folder Options, and de-select the option to 'remember each folder's view' or whatever the wording is.

Then click on the 'make all folders look like this one' button on top, and you're done!
