Is there a way to import from a txt or cvs file names to a distribution list in Exchange 5.5?

I have a big list of exchange users who need to get added to a distribution list that was recently created. Any way to just have exchange look at a file or do I have to go through and add every user to the list manually?

Log into outlook goto import & export, select Import from another file or program,
select CSV dos or windows, select the file. Pick a folder, then select map custom fields.. After it gets imported into outlook, fire up the distribution list and add all the name to the list

Wow I did not know outlook had a Distribution list capability but that is not the distribution list I was making. Thanks for the new tip though. What I was creating was a Distribution list inside Exchange 5.5 server. We eventually just went through and added the names manually since I don't think there is an import feature for v5.5 of the exchange server.

i remembered reading from either my exchange 5.5 certification or some other publication that you can import this using a VB Script run inside Excel. oh well, you already got the job done :)

Why doesn't MS just make a friggen import button hehe geez.. another thing is you can't sort by anything but by display name.. what a waste of a bunch of other fields that are very informative... Hopfully if we can budget Exchange 2000 it is better and more admin-friendly..

Took us near 4-5 hours to finish the job with 2 people clicking away.. hehe

Thanks for the replys guys..
