Is there a way to hide certain threads from yourself?

Especially if you know you shouldn't continue posting in a thread, but it's like you can't stop yourself....

If this feature were available, it might save me some verbal spewage...

Actually, if you have firefox and the Greasemonkey extension you can probably write a script to do this. A few years back notfred wrote one that would strip out all threads and posts by certain members.
