Is there a way to enable DMA in Windows 2000?

I just bought a new DVD rom and I saw all the issues going around with the DMA setting on IDE drives. I see how to do it in Windows 98 but can't seem to find out where to get to that setting in Windows 2000.

Right click on My computer, Go to properties, hardware, device manager, IDE/ATAPI controllers, than go to properties for the dvd drive, than advanced settings.
