Is there a way to delete songs from a music cd.

I am wondering if there is any way to delete songs from a music cd. The cd claims that the songs are read only, and the entire cd is also read only so there is no way for me to change the properties. .

any way to change this?

Rip it, remove offending item from playlist, burn to CD-R, then listen to that.

Well yeah i could do that. But the cd is already a compiled cd-r. I just accidentally put a song on there and was wondering if i could easily remove it.

Nope ... everything on a CD-R is write-once, so you cannot rewrite the table of contents after the fact. Even if it was a CD-RW, you'd have to erase it and do a full rewrite of the entire thing.
