Is there a way to control Windows Media Player 11 via some sort of wireless device?

yes... the multimedia controls on just about any wireless keyboard will do the job.

The ATI remote can also work with WMP or the music player of your choice.
 
sorry, let me elaborate on my question. I want an lcd on the remote and use that to control wmp. What i'm looking for is a way to access my music without having to look at the monitor.

somethign like that sonos thing...but much cheaper cause i am poor.
 
hmm...thats interesting. Looks good and it should be cheaper now that its been out for a few years. Only think is that you have to use the creative jukebox on the computer.

I found this. It lets you use WMP and control it directly, including drm and playlists. and the screen looks better too.
