Is there a way to Calculate Folder Sizes in Windows W2K?

When I put a folder full of files in the Recycle Bin, I can see the size of each folder by opening up the Recycle Bin and looking in the "Size" column.

However,

I can't get Windows 2000 to Calculate Folder Sizes anywhere else. Is there an option somewhere that I've missed?

Thanks! 🙂

Here's a screenshot of what I meant.

The Right-Click > Folder Properties works great, but its really cumbersome when you're working with more than one folder, or if you want to sort a bunch of folders by size, etc.

I'm hoping there is a way to make Windows Calculate Folder Sizes like this in all windows, instead of just the Recycle Bin.

Thanks for the response 🙂

pr0n?!?!?!?! OMG!!!!! 😉

i havent used windows in a while and am not currently so i cant check, but i *think* i remember being able to right click the little thingie at the top and being able to select different fields to show!?!? or am i thinking of something else? not sure.

I'm using the "Details" View, so the Size column is automatically turned on for the rest of Windows.

You are right - you can also right-click the little bar at the top of the window to manually turn on the Size colum in any window, however, W2K ignores this column unless you are looking inside of the Recycle Bin... 🙁

Here's a new & improved screenshot.
